Ghana is set to confirm its third coronavirus case in the coming days as an individual has reportedly tested positive for the virus, Ryvanz Mia Online has gathered.
According to JoyNews Health Desk, Fred Smith, the patient had entered into the country via the Kotoka International Airport.
He added that the patient arrived in the country over two days ago, but could not specify which country the alleged patient arrived from.
Fred Smith says that the alleged patient works with a mining company and currently based in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region.
He reportedly flew to Obuasi by helicopter.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu announced a few days ago that the country had recorded its first cases of the novel coronavirus.
During an emergency press briefing on Thursday 12 March 2020, he said the two patients had arrived from Norway and Turkey.
