Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote has tested negative for the Coronavirus, Ryvanz Mia Online has learnt.
“As a global citizen and business leader, I took the COVID-19 test and the result came back NEGATIVE” Dangote disclosed in a tweet on Sunday.
Mr Dangote underwent a test to see his health status and take pragmatic measures, if he tested positive.
Since the test came back negative, the CEO of Dangote Group of Companies will not self-isolate.
He expressed worry about how the dangerous bug has caused global scourge and affecting the world economy.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted modern society, affecting our collective health and well-being.”
Mr. Dangote, aged 62, Plegded his support to the federal government of Nigeria to help curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in the Western Africa country.
“CACOVID(Coalition Against COVID-19) is an initiative that I am leading with other private sector leaders & our common goal is to support ongoing Government initiatives with our resources in the fight against Covid-19.”
He was optimistic the world will win the fight against the deadly disease“We are in this together & I am optimistic we will overcome.(2/2)”
