Legendary actress Maame Dokono seems unhappy with feminists for abandoning their household duties. She has, however, reprimanded them.

Speaking to Agyemang Prempeh on Legends show on TV XYZ on Sunday 26 July 2020, she could not fathom why some women have decided not to wash their husband’s clothes and cook for them.

“They say some [people] [feminists] say they will never wash their husband’s clothes. How? You will never cook for men. How would the man ascertain you love him, you’re a good woman?” she quizzed.

The award-winning actress and former hostess of defunct television programme ‘By The Fire Side’ further urged married women to perform their duties as such in order to make a happy marriage.

“Cook for them. You think your husband’s co-equal so you won’t cook for him?

Personally, my sons, if you marry such woman I will tell you to divorce her. You’re to cook for him. Someone says I will never wash my husband’s underwear. Wash it. You won’t wash it daily. Wash it he will remember you for that in the future,” Maame Dokono advised.

She added that, “In the future he will treasure you.”

The former politician also admonished women on the internet who call themselves ‘Slay Queens’ and indulge in all forms of ungoldy stuff for financial gains to desist from it.

The ‘Obra’ famed actor divulges some of these women among other things show their body to men during live video calls.

This, the 74-year-old thespian said, will apparently ruin their lives in the long run, therefore they should refrain from doing so.

Maame Dokono mentioned that the men they show their body to during the live interactions via the internet will “use it against them” in the near future.
