Wendy Shay has justified her decision to leave at the middle of an interview this week on Accra 100.5 FM.

According to the singer, on the radio programme the presenter was not taking her answer.

“You know I think it was an interview and not a courtroom. So, I just thought it wasn’t necessary to go on further and entertain that thing, whatever was going on there,” she told Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz show.

On Tuesday (June 10) the ‘Uber Driver’ crooner while in a conversation on the ‘Ayekoo’ show on Accra FM was infuriated by a question the host incessantly posed at her.

Nana Romeo, the show host asked why she keeps denying having an affair with her manager, Bullet. Wendy Shay responded because they’re not in an amorous relationship and he should concentrate on the reason for the interview. Thus, promotion of her new single ‘Emergency’ featuring Bosom PYoung.

The controversial broadcaster insisted Wendy and Bullet are lovers and that he’s empirical evidence to support his claim. The back and forth continued and it eventually forced the singer to leave the studio.

Speaking on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz 103.9FM on Friday morning, the Rufftown Records signee said she was not cool with the manner and attitude that Nana Romeo asked the question.

“I don’t have a problem with the question. I don’t have a problem if he’d ask about any dating rumours. I mean, yes. But the problem I had with that interview was that I answered the question and I was like let’s move to the next question very respectfully,” the self-acclaimed Queen of Ghana Music said.

She continued, “My problem was the person [Nana Romeo] was emphasizing on that same question and didn’t want to take my answer and I said let’s move on to the next. And I thought fair enough to move on to the next question rather than you know trynna dig deep into. I don’t know.”

“So, I didn’t have a problem with the question. But, I had a problem with the manner and attitude towards how he was trying to push the question on me. So that was it” Wendy Shay explained.
